100 Cats Lost in World Find & Color is a fun addition to the hidden cats genre. Combining finding cats and coloring is a great idea, and the end result, the game, is great fun for a few hours.
Simply put, Not Monday Cafe is a great idle game. It offers enough customization features to satisfy farm sim fans, yet it’s automated enough to keep you focused on work, even if your crops are dying or your customers are angry. And on top of that, Not Monday Cafe is a visual feast.
The Organized Capy God is a chill little puzzle game. The story is heartfelt, and you can play and stop at any time. If you like organizing and matching games, you might like The Organized Capy God.
Your Personal Chill Apartment is a welcome addition to the crowded landscape of productivity apps. While it doesn’t bring anything new to the table, the game does what it sets out to do – to allow us to create some chill digital spaces, quite nicely.
If you like visual novels, jigsaw puzzles, and slow, relaxing gameplay, you’ll like Sunset Drive. The soundtrack is excellent, the artwork is great, the puzzles are the right amount of a challenge, the characters are well fleshed out, honestly, what’s not to like?
With Hidden Cats in Rio de Janeiro, we have returned to the classic format of the hidden cat games. As always, I am excited to see where we are going next, looking for hidden cats!
Pack Lunch is a nice puzzle game with bite-sized levels, perfect for snacking and relaxing between work and other less pleasant tasks. If you enjoy grid puzzles, you’ll likely appreciate Pack Lunch as well.
Much like the previous games in the series, Hidden Cats and Pandas is a short and sweet hidden object game. If you need something quick but cute, this might be the game for you.
RestorArt: Horizon Bay Collector’s Edition is a nice puzzle game with plenty of levels and a nice interface. A few levels here and there are a perfect way to relax in between work or at the end of the day.
In Purr-Suit is a worthy addition to the hidden cats genre. The art style is distinct and different enough to feel fresh. The addition of a silly plotline with a silly but memorable heroine makes the game feel like a breath of fresh air in an overpopulated genre. The game is short and bite-sized, and if you are in the mood for a bit of hidden cat fun, you’ll probably like it as much as I did.
Over the last few years, we’ve seen games of all genres and sizes, and kinds. Surprisingly, or perhaps not, we’ve also seen a couple of fishing games. Dave the Diver and Dredge come to mind easily. Appropriately enough, you can buy Cast n Chill in a bundle with Dredge right now. All three games are different, and yet, at the heart of them is the art of fishing – by yourself or in company, in silence, in touch with nature and the world around us. Cast n Chill can easily be seen as more than just a game, but rather an experience, especially if you’re stuck in an office during the summer and feel that special yearning for nature that cannot be fulfilled for a while. Cast n Chill can be a worthy substitute for the real thing.
Flibbius McDoogle and the Mysterious Flying Machine is a pleasant little surprise. It is very similar in style and story to one of my favorite games, A Short Hike, and it feels like the start of a series of games. If you are in the mood for a short, cozy game, you should try Flibbius McDoogle and the Mysterious Flying Machine.
Love Letters: First Bloom is not a revolutionary word game but does what it sets out to do. If you love word games, you’ll probably love this one too.
Much like the previous games in the series, 100 hidden Cats: Ninja is a short and sweet hidden object game. If you need something short, this might be the game for you.
Bugtopia is a cute and vibrant game about collecting bugs. The bugs are adorable, the terrariums are diverse, and we have a variety of colors, blooming plants, little buildings, and even some fish; what’s not to like? If you enjoy nature and insects, you’ll love this one. If you don’t like bugs, you should skip it.
Arcane Investigations is a short burst of cozy gaming, perfect for rainy Spring days. As I said, I wouldn’t mind playing more in the same world. You might agree after playing Arcane Investigations.
Me resbala! is not an easy game, despite the simple premise. It requires strategy and patience. It is a rewarding experience to figure out a level. If you like games like that, you should probably give Me resbala! a try. Considering it’s also free, it’s indeed a great steal.
CraftCraft: Fantasy Merchant Simulator is a gorgeous visual novel fantasy RPG with crafting elements. Currently, the game feels brief, with approximately 4 hours of gameplay time required to complete the story. There is no endless mode, and some of the controls are slightly annoying. However, the game feels like a terrific fantasy novel, and the developers have been updating it since day one, so I have high hopes for how it will look in a couple of months. If you are in the mood for some light-hearted and cozy fantasy fun, give CraftCraft a chance, if not now, then in a few weeks.
I liked Trash Goblin in its Early Access version. There were some things to iron out, but it had a lot of promise and potential. I am happy to report that the full version more than lives up to that potential. Trash Goblin is a delightfully relaxing and cozy puzzle game; if you enjoy the genre, I recommend trying it – you’ll love it.
I played the demo of Spray Paint Simulator a few months back, and the game has been on my wishlist ever since. I am happy to report that it was worth the wait, and I can only hope that the developers will release many DLCs for this game. If you enjoy meditative painting and washing games, you’ll love Spray Paint Simulator as well!
