Critic Reviews for Black Desert: Prestige Edition
Black Desert arrives to consoles with all the updated content so far and does so with a number of rewards in this Prestige Edition. The gameplay is direct, addictive and full of options and possibilities, making it one of the most complete MMOs of the moment. On the other hand, the serious performance problems it has, a very unfriendly interface and a quite hard learning curve are going to tarnish a pleasant experience.

Black Desert: Prestige Edition is definitely worth getting if you’re interested in diving into the game, and probably worth it even if you’ve played that before. More importantly than that, however, Black Desert itself is worth it. Its complexity does take some getting used at first, but that soon wears off and is replaced with an MMO experience with plenty of honest-to-goodness fun and more content than you know what to do with. If you like MMOs, I would assume that you would like this as well. And for those of you who like RPGs but are hesitant to get into an MMO? Well, you might end up liking it way more than you think!
Black Desert: Prestige Edition is a gorgeous MMO – arguably the prettiest one out there. The sweeping landscapes and detailed character creation show off the game’s visuals wonderfully. The primary narrative may be a bit underwhelming at times, but there is a lot to do – even if most of it has been done in other MMOs in the past. Still, the virtual crafting and fishing life is quite enjoyable here, and character progression kept me engaged. MMOs on a console can be a bit tricky at times, but the UI is handled quite well with a controller and the action-oriented combat is well-served by the controller interface. MMO fans should find plenty to enjoy here.
