Squish Reviews
Squish is an easy to pick-up and play party game with some nice visuals and tunes but it doesn’t have enough meat on its gooey bones for me to fully recommend it. There is nothing here for solo players to enjoy and it is near impossible to find anyone online to play with either. It can be fun to play it locally with other players but with only a few different modes that mostly play the same and nothing to unlock you’ll likely move on from this one pretty quickly.
I've found over the course of the Switch's lifespan that while its great it has helped lead to a resurgence in relatively simple local multiplayer there simply don't seem to be many new and solid ideas out there to help many of them to be compelling...
Squish is an absolute must-have with a group of friends or for social events. The two-button gameplay and movement is easy to grasp and can result in loads of fantastic moments of engagement. Though there isn’t much in the single-player-sphere, what’s there can be a fun challenge for those who chase high scores. Regardless, you’re bound to have a sensationally satisfying time in the world of Squish.
