I wanted to like this game. I said it was going to suck when its original release date was still in November 2024. The repeated delays only reinforced that idea in my head. In a way, after all of its recent failings—and there have been a lot of those—Ubisoft was
It's great but tedious like most Ubisoft games, but if you like their formula, you'll like this one too. It's a great return for AC fans.
The open world frankly is mind-blowing. dynamic weather, seasons changing . no game has ever looked so good. Autumn especially was absolutely incredible. The fact you can go somewhere in summer, tall bushes and vegetation to hide in, the exact same place in autumn, the bushes are dying out. If
I just finished the game. Obviously, this is just my opinion based of off my preferences.
I hated it and this is why:
1) Most of the quests are kill 100 bandits/pirates/ronin/corrupt officials in this area, do it again in that area, and again in the next area.
2) Most
Awfully boring cutscenes and quests. Couldn't stomach more than a couple hours before uninstalling and returning.
AC odyssey and AC origins put this game in to shame. Waste of time and money
The best AC, graphically gorgeous, Tarantinesque scenario and two type of gameplay. Don't listen the critics and try this game you won't be disappointed.
dont listen anyone opinion, play game and said that this game is best in my opinion, most beautiful game i ever played love its graphics, detailing, porkour , characters and story. Please ubisoft give us such lovely games and we will support you in every time..
Nothing has changed: the same repetitive gameplay, dry plot. As a consequence, no motivation to make progress in the game. It might seem like a solid game for like 15 hours. But after, it will be nothing but a test of patience.
Great episode for this franchise and delivered in clean technical state (ps5) no crashes so far (35hours) no quest breaking bug. The game itself is great butit could have take more risk and not be so afraid of challenging the player, but it's a step in the right direction
Gamers and paying customers deserve better from companies and employees who respect us instead of this janky garbage.
Gameplay is mid.
Story starts off average and goes cringe fast
Assassin's Creed Shadows is a groundbreaking game for the entire Ubisoft corporation, a game that was initially surrounded by scandals, delays, and overall negativity.
The game has been released, and it's... decent! A truly decent game from Ubisoft Quebec. Not great, not bad—just solidly decent.
The gameplay as Naoe feels closer to
AC Shadows is the evolution we needed 10 years ago after the shift to RPG. It is a solid game with refined and polished mechanics from the saga. The feudal Japan world they have created is breathtaking, meticulously crafted down to the last detail. The atmosphere and seasonal system are
After diving headfirst into Assassin’s Creed Shadows and never looking back, I can confidently say that Ubisoft has not only delivered the game fans have been dreaming of for nearly two decades but has also crafted what is quite possibly the best overall entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise next
The first Assassin’s Creed I ever played was AC2 — and it was love at first stab. The mechanics, the story, the world… it had that raw potential you could tell would shine even brighter in future titles. Parkour and stealth were the heart of it all, and cities felt
