Dragon Age Veilguard: A Disappointing Turn for the Series
As a long-time fan of the Dragon Age franchise, I was eagerly awaiting Dragon Age Veilguard. The series has always held a special place in my heart, with its dark tone, compelling RPG mechanics, and unforgettable companions. Unfortunately, this game falls short
DO NOT BUY.
This game spits on everything that makes the Dragon Age series great. I could spend hours listing all its faults ranging from dull combat, repetitive enemies, lazy game design, useless filler quests, childish and awful writing, ignoring all past decision from the previous games, the illusion of
Action is pretty fun, story is meh, and runs and looks beautifully. Definitely worth a peek.
This is one of those games where I wish we had a more nuanced recommendation choice than Yes/No.
TL;DR – depends, weigh the Pro/Con list (very subjective are Cons for me).
Ultimately, I asked if I would tell someone to buy the game. My answer is No, because there’s a lot on
Only the technical part of this game is good, the rest is nothing like a good old Dragon Age, just a boring game for who knows who...
From someone who has actually played the game and isn’t on some crusade to review bomb it because I take my marching orders from some content creator/culture warrior…
It’s a very good game. It sorta rights the mistakes or Mass Effect 2 in terms of characters and story harmonizing.
Here’s what
As always this days, (Its sad, I know.) don't listen to the haters.
The only people with a political agenda here are them, not Bioware.
DAtV is a very good game and a worthy addition to the Dragon Age series.
The Game is... decent at best. The Story would be AMAZING if the writing wasn't horrendous. The Companions are boring, they don't take any damage, the dialogue is stale most of the time, the only thing they are useful for is taking a mob off you for a little bit
The game is not objectively bad. It's technically competent (surprisingly so for a modern AAA release), the systems mostly work as intended, and there are a couple of decent moments. The environments also look great, though it seems like they were made by an entirely different art department from the
So much fun! Enjoyed the game immensely. Beautiful graphics, perfect polish, good controls, and the story was great. Easily in my top ten.
Pretty mediocre. Main story doesn’t really grab me at all and the combat gets repetitive fast with very little variety. I’d probably rather play DA2 again than this game.
Another brilliant entry to the series. Don't believe the haters, this is a great game.
Sadly not the Dragon Age Most People wanted focusing on being WOKE pushing an agenda that Most People did not want or ask for sadly killing the Dragon Age Franchise instead of focusing on the Rich history on the Dragon Age lore it turned into a mess and can not
Journalists get paid to positively review bomb this game.
Be careful, this is a political manifest who have nothing to do with dragon age series.
Buy it if you enjoy "modern" political idéology in yours games.
bien et bof plus des défaut que des bon point a pars les graphisme qui sont manifique .
