It mimics the films really well, and adds elements to the story that work perfectly within it, such as Alex having asthma and incorporating that into the gameplay and narrative. As a well-versed survival horror player, I found the game to be a bit simple for my taste, however I would recommend this to anyone trying out survival horror for the first time.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead by Saber offers a solid Alien Isolation-like experience in the A Quiet Place universe, closely following John Krasinski’s formula. While fans will enjoy the familiar tension and references, the slow pace, punishing sound mechanics, predictable plot, and bugs can detract from the experience, though die-hard fans may still find it rewarding.

Once you've locked down the game's core mechanics, it becomes all too easy to survive. Most of the time, you'll be crab-walking around a closed area trying to avoid a creature that will kill you with a single hit if you rustle a bush or step on an empty can.
