I feel like most people here either don't do this game's justice. It's either a 1/5 or a 5/5 stars, and this game is neither.
I want to preface this review and give Sandfall Interactive a huge praise for such an achievement with such a small team and reasonably low
A good music and story but boring to play.. a very hyped game for no reason in particular. A good game of the genre JRPG but easy to forget.
This is a really great game, but I'm just not into turn based games. I wasn't able to get sucked in like everyone else. But I can see why people love this game. I'd say it's worth your time and money, and if you're like me who was unsure. Try
I have 100% completed this game on PC via Game Pass and am now working my through on PS5 in order to get the platinum (this game had to be in my plat collection). It is that good. Gameplay? Amazing. Story? Incredible. Graphics? Gorgeous. This game is not just game
Compelling storyline and characters that puts it within the very best of video game storytelling.
Combine that with engaging mechanics and you get an easy game-of-the-year title.
I haven't felt this attached to characters, story and world for a video game, possibly ever (maybe undertale?). This is a truly remarkable piece of art and a really fun game to boot.
Unbelievable to see a game like this come out in 2025. It awakened the same feelings I had as a child playing FF7 for the first time in the 90s.
One of the most refreshing games I’ve played in years.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 pulled me in instantly. The world feels like a painting that came to life — surreal, atmospheric, and full of moments where I just stopped to take it all in. Not because I had to, but because
This game will spoil a lot of games by how good it is in nearly every category. You know how many decent games are good or great in one or two areas. This game is great in almost every area. I think the only area I could even say is
Impressive first game but with a lot of shortcomings that hold it back, in my opinion.
One of the best JRPGs I've ever played, with a turn-based combat system with the addition of dodges and parries to increase the difficulty. The story is simply beautiful and engaging, I fell in love with the characters and the plot, even graphically, the audio section is something unique and
At 30 years old it’s a bit more difficult for me to pause my busy career life to immerse myself in an RPG. Clair Obscur did it for me - it made me look forward to getting into my couch, turning on my PS5 and jumping into the amazing world
I would love this game if not for the off centered camera during exploration, that makes me nauseous after a few minutes. It's unplayable to me. :(
Gameplay: GREAT.
Graphic: GREAT.
Story: GREAT.
Music/Sound: AWESOME.
Dialogue/Voice Acting: GREAT.
The absence of dungeon map is preventing me from enjoying the game to the fullest.
Played on PS5. This game is a masterpiece.
I loved it enough to actually review it here.
The art, music, writing, character motivations are all top notch. It's hard to believe a game this well made came out of nowhere.
Congratulations to Sandfall Interactive for making a
