Wreckfest 2 Reviews
Wreckfest 2 is an excellent sequel that promises to become the king of demolition racing games. Even now, in Early Access, it offers an intense experience, great graphics, solid physics, and a huge dose of fun. If you love racing, destruction, or both at once, there’s no reason to hesitate. But if you’re not prepared for occasional crashes and technical glitches, I’d advise you to hit the guardrails.

Wreckfest 2 delivers spectacular destruction, detailed damage modelling, and aggressive AI that make every race unpredictable and exhilarating. Though still light on content, its technical foundation and visual fidelity show incredible promise for full release.
Early Access may be fairly rocky, and content may be pretty slim currently, but I believe BugBear is more than capable of delivering like they have prior with Wreckfest 1. If you have enjoyed the first Wreckfest, this is going to be an easy recommendation for you. Wreckfest 2 is another promising automotive-based game, even if the current content is fairly lacking.
Wreckfest 2 nails what it must get right. The feel of driving. The thrill of impact. The joy of watching your car disintegrate mid-lap. But it’s not a full game yet—it’s a violent, promising prototype. If that sounds like your kind of fun, you’ll find something to enjoy here. Otherwise, wait until Bugbear gives it the bodywork it deserves.
