Pragmata Player Reviews

Pragmata was a very good game and “something new” as I like to say. The whole hacking and shooting were done nicely and it really need some quick thinking and fast fingers to play this title. Only little negative thing was the overwhelming heap of upgrades and add-ons and whatnots
Fresh gameplay in a quite saturated shooter landscape.
It's very well paced start to finish.
Very good game with a pretty good story and overall game feel, and the relationship between Diana and Hugh is great, and it's a Capcom game, so that's always a big plus
The video game stuff; action, movement, design, collectibles, etc. are all really high level and endlessly fun to play and explore with. The story/characters are hit and miss for me, my main issue is a very lackluster villain driving the plot for 80% of the game. The initial evil AI
Capcom truly Reached For The Moon with this one, bravo.
Pragmata, a game that went through various delays, albeit presented in the cutest possible way, by Diana, every year, finally launched and, boy oh boy, I am so surprised by how well done this game is.
As usual, let’s first talk about
Genuinely the best game I have played in years, great characters great story. Love the combat mechanics and the diversity of choice for your loadout. Praying for a sequel already.
Relatable as a dad 10/10 would recommend. This is a PS2 game, and I mean that in the absolutely best way - it's refreshing, great engaging gameplay, simple and linear and not demanding and a very grounded and relatable story.
Pragmata surprised me in the best way. I went in with modest expectations, and the more I play, the more impressed I am. It feels like Returnal blended with a touch of Dead Space, all wrapped in Capcom’s signature polish.
It’s essentially a “lite” roguelike. You push through zones, clear enemies,
-- Gameplay
Pragmata delivers a very engaging gameplay experience, mainly thanks to its hacking system. Combat is built around hacking enemies to make them vulnerable before dealing damage with your weapons.
What makes this system stand out is that time does not stop while hacking. Enemies continue attacking, and the environment remains
I've completed the game (with a gamepad) on Normal difficulty with Japanese voice acting and French subtitles; all levels are 100% complete (all red rooms and collectibles, but not all mini-cabin levels or simulations), around 20 hours of gameplay.
In my opinion, this is a really great game—beautiful and completely bug-free.
Pragmata stands out with its mysterious sci-fi setting, strong emotional story, and stunning visuals. The atmosphere and character dynamic really pull you in, making it feel fresh compared to most games.
The downside is that the gameplay can feel a bit clunky at times, and the pacing isn’t always consistent.
Still, its
The game strong point is not just beautiful graphic and fresh combat, but the relantionship between hugh and diana. Hugh is just like good father to diana, and diana is just like 7 years old daughter that full if energy that curious about world surounding her. Great job Capcom for
