LANESPLIT

Critic Reviews for LANESPLIT
LANESPLIT delivers a focused, adrenaline-fuelled arcade experience that thrives on speed, risk, and flow. While its presentation, soundtrack, and score-chasing gameplay loop do a great job of selling the thrill of land splitting at extreme speeds, technical hiccups and a lack of depth in bike detail and audio balance hold it back from reaching its full potential.
"The Ultimate Speed Test" LANESPLIT knows exactly what it wants to deliver and executes it with confidence. It puts the player at the heart of the action, turning every second of driving into a test of focus and reaction time. Its first-person perspective, rigorous scoring system, and responsive audiovisual design create a pure adrenaline experience that doesn't try to please everyone.

LANESPLIT is a brilliant concept trapped in a prototype's body. The developer, FunkyMouse, clearly understands the psychology of speed and the addictive nature of the "flow state." When you are in the zone, cutting up traffic to a pounding bassline, the game is a 10/10 experience. But you cannot ignore the hollow car models, the repetitive three-map structure, the lack of meaningful progression, and the generic engine sounds. It is a fantastic foundation that simply isn't a complete video game yet. If you want a digital fidget spinner to turn your brain off for 20 minutes after work, it might be worth picking up on a deep discount. Otherwise, keep this one on your wishlist until the developer drops a few more major patches. – ColdMoon
