The branching narratives have me intrigued to jump back in for another playthrough, and the variety of builds you can make should keep them even more unique. This is the type of game that you could play 100 hours of and still discover new things. If you’re a fan of
Fantastic game. If you like DnD universe and Disco Elysium gameplay, try this.
A fun, role-playing filled adventure. Could benefit from some voice acting but the story, world, and characters are strong and engaging to deal with.
There are many things about Esoteric Ebb that I really enjoyed. The ability to equip items that raise your stats or give you a unique ability is a great way to expand upon the genre. The world-building was fantastic. The items were unique, and the story was kept you interested.
Although
Esoteric Ebb is a hilarious, engaging, and remarkably fresh take on the CRPG genre. While the influences of D&D and Disco Elysium are clear, it never feels derivative—instead, it carves out its own weird niche.

Excellent game that wears its Disco Elysium inspiration like a badge of honor. In some ways, I actually prefer this game to Disco, which sounds like sacrilege.
Where Disco's humor is dry and the writing and outlook generally cynical (in a good way), there are legitimate laugh-out-loud moments in Esoteric
WOW! If you like Disco Elysium, you owe it to yourself to play this game. The writing is incredible (though nothing can touch Disco) and the systems are extremely fun. More people need to play this game!
