As you’d expect from a realistic flight simulator, Korea IL-2 Series doesn’t try to simplify everything for the sake of accessibility. At the same time, the developers have finally introduced several welcome conveniences for newcomers, making those intimidating first few hours somewhat easier to navigate. Once you understand how everything works, there is a great deal of fun waiting for you. The game still has a steep barrier to entry, but ironically, the biggest obstacle this time around might simply be having a sufficiently powerful PC to run it properly.
