It's a shame that more significant improvements weren't made to Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered, since playing both sides of a murder conspiracy is still such an interesting concept that's not often done right. However, the frantic button prompts, still-stupid stealth, and newly-introduced glitches make this Remaster way too unrefined.

Being a straight PS2 port, without any improvement, will be enough for lots of players to not touch it. But if you want to discover one of the earlier Quantic Dream's adventures, replay it or simply collect it, you can't miss it. It still has "something" that makes it unique, even if if has been surpassed on the technical and narrative sides.

'Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered' does exactly what users should expect from a remaster, it shines a light on all of the original game's strengths, which are worth noticing. Likewise, the majority of the original game's failings are back in full force in this restrained remaster. Longtime fans will find a technical and content upgrade worth the purchase price, while new players now have the definitive version to try.
