The story LiEat tells is short but sweet, with a very touching ending if you're willing to grind for it. Parts of the plot fall a bit flat, but this beautifully presented mystery tale is definitely unique enough to recommend.

While rough around the edges and with a weird story, two out of three games in the LiEat series were rather solid. It's a shame the first one is the weakest because I think it will turn people off.

The LiEat trilogy presents a lite visual novel esque adventure with a charming duo of protagonists and through a whimsical narrative. While the questionable implementation of combat is puzzling, and the collectively 3-hour play-time for the entire trilogy can be understandable turn-offs, I find the characterizations and soundtrack more than enough to give these games a try.
