Earth’s Dawn is a stylish action RPG with a few noticeable flaws that prevent it from achieving greatness. Its complex skill tree, exhilarating boss fights and in-depth crafting mechanics will keep some players busy for a long time, but others may be discouraged by the game’s repetitiveness and annoying difficulty spikes.

Whilst there's a lot of enjoyment to be found from carving the aliens into tiny pieces, the campaign offers nothing of real consequence. Earth's Dawn feels like a game that could have been improved using permadeath or more significant time management implementation. Instead, we've got a fun, if disposable beat ‘em up.

earth's Dawn is a poor man's Odin Sphere, but a decade too late. Crafting and upgrading might help elevate spirits throughout your playthrough, but the combat and execution prevents Earth's Dawn from being anything special.

Earth’s Dawn is a good Side Scrolling Brawler. With the freedom to evolve your character as you see fit for the missions ahead, the mission based structure can be useful even if it is repetitive allowing you to quickly go in and out of missions in order to obtain materials for new gear or to simply waste time for the next large scaled mission.
