Planet 2000 isn’t just an unexciting and unspectacular vehicular combat game, it’s a poorly-conceived one. It can be offensively bad on certain levels, mostly the ones that see this as a PS4 release in 2017, but for the most part, its biggest crime is that it’s just subpar and boring.
Planet 2000 is the sort of rare failure that makes you look out in awe in its magnificence, knowing you yourself will never reach such an absolute. It is the worst video game I have ever played, period.
Top that all off with vehicles that control like flies trapped in syrup, a gross lack of interesting weapons, and only a couple of different vehicle types. Once you’ve had your fill of laughing at Planet 2000’s low-budget oddities, you’re left with a mess of a game that’s just tedious to play.
