Final Fantasy XV: Episode Gladiolus Reviews
Regardless it was a bittersweet journey through Gladio’s thoughts and emotions. If this sort of story telling is being done with the rest of our budding king's entourage then I’d more than welcome it, whilst secretly wishing for more.
Episode Gladiolus might be short in length but it incorporates some nice gameplay mechanics and since the price isn't overly expensive, if you are starving for more Final Fantasy XV, you can enjoy your time with this DLC while also unlocking new costume and weapon for Gladiolus in the main game.
Episode Gladiolus is worth checking out for its rugged action and blood-pumping music, though its plot points really should've been part of Final Fantasy XV in the first place.
The bland setting, the slow, and poorly considered combat, and some really poor musical decisions mean that Episode Gladiolus doesn’t come close to reaching the heights of the main game, and that’s a shame given that it has an interesting plot, and it’s experimenting with ideas in the Score Attack mode.
If you're looking to spend more time in the world of Eos, then Episode Gladiolus is absolutely worthwhile.
