I enjoyed my time venturing through the different areas, and solving the many puzzles, but I didn’t like the slow gameplay. The constant swapping of characters and walking the same path was too tedious for me. This already has a large fan base, and I can only see it getting stronger because of its unique mechanics. Unfortunately, I won’t be jumping on that bandwagon. Do I recommend it? If you like slow puzzle games with an adventure twist, then yes. If you’re tempted, buy a copy here! Can your team of 4 strangers work together to unearth the treasure in the west? They must, otherwise failure is guaranteed and fate is wrong.

World to the West is the perfect example of how you can have all the good intensions in the world, but sometimes the execution is just bad. There are some nice ideas here and there, but too many bad design choices almost destroy everything good the game has to offer.

World to the West offers undemanding puzzles with frustrating gameplay. I don't know, if it's a game for kids or adult players, but it fails in what it tries to do in both cases.

World to the West begins with clear signs of similarity to Teslagrad, with the opening character also being revealed to be a Teslamancer. However, Lumina the Teslamancer is joined by Knaus the orphan, Miss Teri the mind mender, and the handsomely mustachioed Lord Clonington, as they adventure through a rather different part of the world to try and escape an ancient prophecy.
