Star Ocean Till the End of Time (HD Edition) Reviews
It's especially important to remember that Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is a 13-year-old game, and you'll notice this from the off. It was a bit of a dungeon-slog in 2004, and the spotlight's even brighter now. Some awkward dialogue sections and rudimentary dungeon design aside, the fundamentals of this classic JRPG keep it more than relevant, with a progressive battle system, a series best soundtrack, and a thought-provoking narrative that concludes the Star Ocean timeline with aplomb.
Even with its issues, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is still a great and enjoyable jrpgs, and also one of the most revolutionary ones, even by today's standards.

Inoffensive JRPG fodder that would have benefitted from a true remake rather than a lacklustre port.
All in all, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is an adequate and enjoyable JRPG. Nothing about the game or the port is particularly exceptional, but aside from one particularly controversial plot twist, it doesn't do anything particularly wrong, either. It's a fun JRPG with a lot of replay value, and anyone looking for a nostalgic trip or to experience a somewhat obscure game will have a good time. A higher-quality remaster or port could've done a lot to elevate the game to the next level.
