Critic Reviews for The Solus Project (VR)

The Solus Project does what it sets out to do — immerse you in a dangerous environment for a dozen or so hours and task you with surviving long enough to experience the story. While I wish there was a bit more to the plot, and while the controls frustrated me, it's a fairly solid exploration and survival game. The VR component makes it worth investing some time in.

There is a lot to see and a lot to explore in Solus Project. Gliese-6143-C is a vast open planet you won’t get round quickly. If this is your style of game then you will play this for quite some time and is worth the money.

As an attempt to bring atmospheric exploration to PSVR, The Solus Project is a decent effort that will nevertheless require considerable player patience. If you’ve been waiting for a sci-fi walking simulator and are prepared to fight the game’s clunkiness every step of the way, it’s definitely worth your time.
