Critic Reviews for Morphies Law: Remorphed
Morphies Law gets an updated PC release, but its bright visuals and style can't quite overcome a lack of longevity and its odd clunky moment.
Overall, Morphies Law: Remorphed is a very good game. True, the hyper-focused nature leads to a lack of diversity, which means earning cosmetics might be less of a replay incentive than hoped. But it is still a joy to look at, and the fixed netcode issues of the original game fully round out the experience in the process. A bit of fine-tuning with progression would be beneficial, but if you're looking for another shooter on Switch, this should definitely be considered!
The massive improvement from one installment to the next is highly noticeable. It still lacks variety in its maps. The jump Remorphed makes from the original version makes it not only playable, but a game you can sink your teeth into, as it is a well-rounded shooter gameplay experience.
I think this game has the potential to be good. It has a lot of work to do including improving the gun play, varying up the maps, better/balanced match making and fixing the controls (make it friendlier to all players) and it would easily land in the average to good range. Here’s hoping the next update comes out on or before Day of the Dead 2019 (November 2nd).
Morphies Law Remorphed had the potential to be a captivating online shooter, but it fails in gameplay quality and variety. Despite some noticeable improvements from the original game, it's hard to avoid the feeling that its great concept was wasted. Without a robust foundation, it doesn't matter how solid the walls and ceiling are — it all comes crashing down anyway.

Morphies Law: Remorphed is a good multiplayer game, with very original and attractive playable mechanics. Use a base similar to Splatoon to create a team shooter with the peculiarity of stealing mass and the hilarious situations that this causes, all seasoned with a wrap of undeniable originality, the Mexican holiday of the day of the dead. Its biggest handicap is that despite having offline play, its great assets are online, and for this it requires a loyal user base, which a year ago could not retain.
