A Spyro the Dragon Collection may be Coming This Year

Reports recently revealed that a collection of remastered versions of the Spyro games will be coming to the PS4 in Q3 of 2018. This collection will be developed by Vicarious Visions in a similar manner to the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy and will include Spyro the Dragon, Ripto's Rage!, and Year of the Dragon. One source told Kotaku UK that the game will be released in September to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise. What is interesting to note is that this game is a one-year timed exclusive for the PS4 which means that it will potentially release on other platforms in 2019. In addition to this, the reports also mentioned that Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is also on such a contract, so expect to see it on other consoles in 2018.
