A new feature for the upcoming Switch version of Devil May Cry 3 has been revealed.

It has been announced on Twitter that players will be able to switch between weapons on the fly in the upcoming Switch version of Devil May Cry 3. Originally, players were only able to pick two melee weapons and two firearms that they could switch between in battle. The new Free Style mode expands on that quite a bit. Now, Dante will be able to switch between all of his weapons without having to wait for the level to end or accessing a Divinity Statue. Players just have to hold down the weapon swap buttons to pull up a radial menu showing every weapon found in the game. By using the right stick, any weapon can be chosen, allowing for combos that were not possible in the original version of Devil May Cry 3.

For those who do not wish to play the game with all of the new features being added, there will be the option to play the original version of the title.

The Free Style feature is the second to be announced for Devil May Cry 3. Earlier this month, a new feature that lets players swap Styles on the fly was revealed. In the original version of the game, players were only able to switch their Style by completing a mission or visiting a Divinity Statue. Along with the weapon swapping ability, players should be able to perform combos that were previously unavailable due to the weapon and Style restrictions.

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition will release on the Nintendo Switch on February 20th. The game will run for $19.99, and pre-ordering the game now on the Nintendo eShop will give players 50% discount on the Switch ports of Devil May Cry 1 and 2. One last feature for Devil May Cry 3 will be announced on February 13th.
