Capcom has scored some huge numbers for its most successful Monster Hunter title ever. The company announced that, to date, Monster Hunter: World has shipped over 7.9 million copies of the (right now) PlayStation 4 exclusive game worldwide. Capcom even went so far as to call it a "massive, record-setting success and that it is the best-telling title in company history".
The announcement was made as part of Capcom's latest investor report that saw company profits rise 8.4% year-over-year.
