Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 basically keeps the first game's room-splitting save system in tact, which includes bringing back Saviour Schnapps.

While the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance was clearly popular and successful enough to spawn a sequel that just launched today, even its most dedicated players wouldn't shy away from admitting it has some faults. Warhorse Studios' quest for realism and creating an immersive world is impressive, but it occasionally impacted the gameplay.

One big example of this was Kingdom Come: Deliverance's save system, which was archaic to say the least. At launch, you could only save if you had a drink called Saviour Schnapps, which was so controversial a "save and exit" option was eventually patched in, which essentially let you start from exactly where you stopped but removed the chance to save-scum.

Well, if you weren't a fan of Saviour Schnapps in the first game, you probably won't be too pleased to hear that it's back in action in the sequel. Henry can once again use crafting to create the drink, although the developers previously stated that its ingredients would be much easier to come across this time....
