Much-loved PS5 platformer Astro Bot is getting five new challenge levels, and these stages are designed to test your platforming skills to their limit, according to developer Team Asobi.
Announcing the new levels in a PlayStation Blog post (and not, for some reason, during yesterday's State of Play), Team Asobi says that unlike the game's holiday-themed level, which was designed to appeal to all ages, these new levels are "harder" and intended to "test your jumping skills".
The first of the five stages, Tick-Tock Shock, launches today and features hazards like crumbling ice platforms, fast-moving robotic fish, and spinning electric ropes to jump, all of which should be a challenge for even seasoned Astro Bot players.
After Tick-Tock Shock, the next level you're getting is Thrust or Bust, which arrives on February 20th. A week after that, you'll be able to play the ominous-sounding Cock-a-Doodle-Doom on February 27th, followed by the Crash Bandicoot-sounding Hard to Bear on March 6th.
Last but not least, the Armored Hardcore level arrives on March 13th. Each stage comes complete with its own Special Bot to rescue, but you'll have to...
