Metroid Prime 4: Beyond may not even be out yet, but one leaker has claimed that Nintendo is already hard at work on its sequel. While no official news about a follow-up has come out, that hasn't stopped the rumor mill from churning about what's next for Nintendo's iconic sci-fi shooter. It may have taken years to get Metroid Prime 4: Beyond out, but Nintendo may not be done with the series just yet.

There has been a lot of speculation around the Metroid Prime series lately. Some fans have suggested that Metroid Prime 4 will come out in or after April 2025, possibly as a cross-gen launch title for the Switch 2.
