It's been four years since Cyberpunk 2077's rocky launch, but after dozens of patches, the game is considered one of the greatest action-adventure RPGs of all time. With 2077 in the rearview mirror now, though, it seems like CD Projekt Red is ramping up development on the sequel, codenamed Orion.

The Battle of Kaer Morhen was complicated in a lot of ways.

Yesterday, the official CDPR Twitter account shared listings for seven new jobs, including a lead encounter designer, which gives us an indication of the scope and ambitions the team is aiming for.

Cyberpunk 2077 had lofty ambitions, which, four years after release, it managed to fulfill. It seems, though, that following the success of 2077, CD Projekt doesn't plan to rest on its laurels, with the new game aiming for certain elements to be better than all of its competitors.

The lead encounter designer job is an important one, working with various departments on Orion. However, most interestingly, the role will "Work in close collaboration with the systems design team to create the most realistic and reactive crowd system in any game to date."
