Most of Monster Hunter Wilds' big changes are for the better. Hitstop has been massively upgraded, the environments are way more open and interactive, and the development team has even made fundamental changes to four of the game's weapons.

Monster Hunter Wilds is a more approachable, if slightly more mindless Monster Hunter.

One change that didn't particularly go down well in the game's beta, however, is the fact that Palicoes now have human-language voice acting. Thankfully, there is a way to turn it off.

Hearing a Palico speak in English is a little... strange. And it's safe to say that it caused a lot of discomfort for fans during Monster Hunter Wilds' incredibly popular open betas. After playing the game, though, we're happy to report it doesn't have to be that way.

The easiest way to set your Palico's voice to Felyne is during the character creator. There is a simple toggle in the design section that lets you turn it on or off.
