Battlefield V will receive one last standalone update later this year.

On the Battlefield blog, it was announced that Battlefield V will receive one more standalone update. According to the blog, the update is planned to release in June. The update will add new content, weapons, and game tweaks. It is stated that the team behind Battlefield V is working from home, and that they will let players know how things progress over the next month. The current Chapter for the game, Into the Jungle, will come to an end on April 29th.

Even though the last standalone update is on the way, there will still be new content coming to Battlefield V after the update. There will be Weekly Rewards, which will give players Battlefield Currency or Company Coin in order to purchase gear that they may have missed. There will also be a number of events and activities, such as Throwback Thursdays. Finally. there will be Community Games Updates. The blog states that players will be updated on when they can expect them to start coming online.

The blog also stated that Battlefield V's developer will continue to work against cheating. The team does not want to go into detail on how they will be combating cheating, as it could potentially make matters worse. Players can report suspected cheaters through the Origin overlay if they are playing on PC, or through their respective consoles if they are playing the game on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

"Thank you all for joining this journey and we look forward to sharing more with you this summer," Senior Producer Ryan McArthur stated. "Having a community of your caliber is a true privilege. In the meantime, we'll see you on the battlefield."

Battlefield V is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
