Many Baldur's Gate 3 players were taken in by Astarion when the game launched in 2023. Well, there were probably more than a few who were into him before that during early access, but I digress - the guy is popular. That's what I'm trying to say.
So, if you're one of the vampire's many, many fans, and you happen to be at Emerald City Comic Con this weekend, then you're in luck. Somewhere in the convention hall, there's a giant Funko Pop of Astarion, coming in at around five feet tall. As spotted by Popverse, you're free to snap a picture with the huge figurine over the weekend. They also report that he's been a very popular attraction, but no surprise there.
Since Astarion's actor, Neil Newbon, is at the convention, he naturally had to meet his Funko Pop-self. Joined by Devora Wilde (who played Lae'zel), Jennifer English (Shadowheart) and Aliona Baranova (a performance director and mocap performer in Baldur's Gate 3), he got some pictures with the giant Astarion, and it's truly a beautiful moment.
