Those looking for a game to play can pick up Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 for free at the moment.

On Twitter, Bandai Namco announced that Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 will be free as a part of their "More Fun for Everyone - at Home" endeavor, which aims to help those who have to stay home due to the current pandemic. The game will be free to download until May 10th on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. There was no word on the Nintendo Switch version of the game, which released a few years after the original versions, also being free to download.

"People around the globe are doing their part to change their life and workstyles in order to battle the COVID-19 pandemic," Bandai Namco stated (via VG247). "We have put into action initiatives to support and safeguard the health of our employees, their families, and friends, as well as our customers, vendors, and our communities.

"Our vision is to follow our slogan word for word and provide - 'more fun for everyone.' We are striving to provide entertainment that everyone can enjoy in the hope we can bring smiles and laughter to video game players throughout the world during this difficult time."

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 originally released back in 2016. The game takes the original Pac-Man formula and turns it on its head. The game features 3D graphics and wild visuals that help bring new life into the original game's formula. New modes include a Score Attack mode and an Adventure Mode that change up how Pac-Man was originally played. The game features boss fights, remixed rules, and more to offer a new Pac-Man experience.

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is free for now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is also available on the Nintendo Switch.

I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I am a huge fan of JRPGs, though I also enjoy fighters. I have been writing about video games for a few years now. If it has a great story, I am sure that I will dig it.
