Three years ago, EA Motive announced that it was working on a standalone Iron Man game, furthering its collaboration with Disney after Star Wars: Squadrons. We haven't heard much about the project since, but that might finally change next week.
As discovered by u/Spiderbyte on the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, EA Motive and SEED "will present their learnings developing 'Texture Sets' for Dead Space, Iron Man, and more" at GDC on March 17.
The lecture will take place at 4:10pm PDT (11:10pm GMT), and lasts one hour.
Skydance New Media similarly showcased Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra during GDC 2024 (which might release as soon as this Christmas), and a snippet of the lecture was posted online, giving us our first look at Khary Payton in the role of Black Panther. EA Motive may do the same, finally giving us a proper look at its upcoming Iron Man game.
So far, we know that the new Iron Man game will tell an original story, separate from the comics and MCU, and that it's being led by Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy producer Olivier Proulx.
There’s enough content to mine in Marvel alone. Why look elsewhere?
