During today's Monster Hunter Wilds showcase, Capcom revealed that players will soon be able to customise Alma.
When the update goes live next Friday, on April 4, you'll find a new option at camp under the "Change Appearance" tab simply titled "Change Alma's Outfit". Right now, there are only two options - her base "Handler's Outfit", and the "Scrivener's Coat", which will be added to the game free of charge.
How many is "several"?
After "completing a certain side mission", you'll also unlock the option to change her glasses. It's unclear what side mission Capcom is referencing, and it didn't show any of the options on offer aside from the "Strategist Spectacles", but it's a huge step towards making the camp feel more your own.
You can find the Alma segment in the showcase below from the 17-minute mark.
While it's likely that at least some future Alma outfits will cost real money, given Capcom stressed that the Scrivener's Coat is free (so the community can try this feature out for themselves), modders have already implemented their own skins anyway.
Some are minor cosmetic tweaks, like black nail polish or more appropriate hunting gear, but others more nefariously boast...
