The PlayStation 5 has officially been revealed.

During Sony's PlayStation 5 games event, the company fully revealed the upcoming console. Where the Xbox Series X was a block, the PlayStation 5 is sleek and thin. It features the same color tone as the DualSense controller that was revealed earlier this year. During a trailer for the system, which can be seen here, we saw that there will be a number of products to go along with the system. This includes a charging station for the DualSense controller, as well as an HD camera. There will also be a new wireless headset called the Pulse 3D, and a media remote.

One of the biggest reveals about the PlayStation 5 was the fact that there will be two versions of the console. The will be a standard version that comes with a disk drive. There will also be a digital model, which lacks the disk drive that the standard model has, allowing gamers to go all digital this holiday season. Price points have not been given yet, as well as what the different costs for the separate models will be.

Earlier this year, The PlayStation 5's controller, the DualSense, was fully revealed. The controller features haptic feedback, as well as adaptive triggers. The Share button on the DualShock 4 has been removed, and has been replaced by the Create button, which will give gamers new ways to create gameplay content to share. The DualSense will also feature a built-in microphone, allowing players to speak to each other without a headset, though they will be able to plug in a headset if they choose to. The light bar has been moved, and will now sit on the sides of the touch pad rather than the upper back of the controller.

The PlayStation 5 will be available this holiday season.
