Now we know when we can see reviews for Iron Man VR.
The review embargo for Iron Man VR will drop on Thursday, July 2nd, at 5:00 a.m. PST (thanks to Upload). This is a full day before the game is expected to release. Along with reviews, a demo has been released for the upcoming title, allowing players to try out the game before it releases.
Iron Man VR allows players to don the iconic armor and soar through the skies. Gamers use two PlayStation Move controllers to control Iron Man's Repulsor Jets, as well as gain access to Iron Man's arsenal. Players can also upgrade the suit in Tony Starks' garage, allowing them to customize the armor and abilities.
Iron Man VR will tell its own unique and original story. In the game, Tony Stark has given up on developing weapons and now creates technology that allows him to fight evil as Iron Man. After several years of being a superhero, Tony is attacked by a mysterious villain named Ghost, a hacker and anti-corporate activist who repurposes old Stark Industries weaponry. As she tries to bring down Iron Man, Ghost attacks Stark's corporate locations around the world, leading to escalating stakes and a final showdown.
Along with the standard edition of the title, gamers can purchase a physical bundle that comes with Iron Man VR, a PlayStation VR headset, two PlayStation Move Motion Controllers, a PlayStation camera, and a VR demo disk. There will also be a Digital Deluxe version of Iron Man VR, which comes with the game, 4 Deluxe Edition Custom Deco Armors, 12 Research Points, a Digital Deluxe soundtrack, and a Deluxe Edition Iron Man PlayStation 4 theme.
Iron Man VR will release for the PlayStation 4 on July 3rd. Stay tuned to OpenCritic to see how reviewers feel about the game.
