It's been fantastic to see new players immerse themselves in the magic of Oblivion nineteen years after the game's original release, thanks to the advent of Oblivion Remastered.

Players diligently working through Oblivion Remastered's main quest may have stumbled across the character Jeelius. During the main quest, Dagon's Shrine, Jeelius finds himself in the unfortunate predicament of being a captive of the Mythic Dawn.

There are several fates for Jeelius, most of them grisly. The player can kill Jeelius to maintain their disguise as a Mythic Dawn cultist, avoiding a lot of tough combat. If the player steals the Mysterium Xarxes and makes a run for it, a statue will collapse on Jeelius, crushing him.

To save Jeelius, one must either spam spells on the argonian to give him enough bulk to survive the statue, or free him after clearing the room. However, both options mean you'll have to navigate the cultist-infested Living Quarters section while trying desperately to protect a naked argonian from powerful enemies. It's not easy, but with the grace of Akatosh, Jeelius will emerge from this cave intact.
