Among Us 3D finally released earlier this week, bringing the original social deduction game into the third dimension for the first time (outside of VR). It seems to be doing pretty well, having launched to Mostly Positive reviews on Steam at the time of writing, though there are a decent number of negative reviews taking aim at the game's approach to player privacy.

According to various reviews, Among Us 3D has a very concerning number of privacy agreements to sign, which is most likely down to the game seemingly recording your voice and game metrics. It's kind of understandable, as Among US 3D will naturally be a game that is full to the brim with young children, so moderation will need to be A LOT stricter to avoid any potential problems.

Unfortunately, the main issue appears to be that these measures also apply in private lobbies between friends. Check out the negative reviews of the game so far, and you'll find a handful of players complaining about being banned while playing in private lobbies, despite nobody reporting each other, and people seem to think it's the game detecting and reacting to foul language.
