Baldur's Gate 3 is a game of many possibilities and permutations, especially in character creation. Unfortunately, most people wind up as Half-Elf Paladins or Human Sorcerers, but a lack of imagination isn't a crime.

Fortunately, those who choose less-beloved racial options are often rewarded with far more unique dialogue than those who don't.

According to data gathered by Reddit user ZaunKongin, the player race in Baldur's Gate 3 with the most racial dialogue tags is Githyanki, and it's not close.

There are over 260 dialogue options tagged with Githyanki, with Lolth-Sworn Drow in second place, at just over 80. Duergar Dwarf (~78), Seldarine Drow (~76), and Mephisto Tiefling (~42) round out the top five.

Human (~3), High Half-Elf (~10), Wood Half-Elf (~11), Drow Half-Elf (~21), and Rock Gnome (~22) make up the chart's bottom five.

If we collate this with data released by Larian Studios about the most-played races in Baldur's Gate 3, we can observe an interesting parallel. The most-played races in Baldur's Gate 3 are Half-Elf, Human and Elf. The least-played, in order of least to most, are Halfling, Gnome, Dwarf and Githyanki.
