Whether you like it or not, Larian has moved on from Baldur's Gate 3. The studio had revealed that Patch 8 would be the final big update that the game would be getting, and that anything else would just be maintenance. So it looks like you're not going to get that Raphael romance option you were hoping for.
If you're thinking about going back to Baldur's Gate 3, the final patch is a perfect excuse.
Patch 8 did give us a lot to play around with – a photo mode and 12 new subclasses; as if we needed another reason to replay the game. The studio has also officially moved on to other projects, and none of them are Baldur's Gate 4. While a lot of us are sad about this, Lae'zel actor Devora Wilde thinks it's the right move for the studio.
Speaking on the ReadyAimFire podcast, Wilde thinks Larian made the right move by moving on to its next game. While everyone would love for Baldur's Gate 3 to get a DLC or more content, the studio has already given us so much, and we can't wait for its next game.
