Each companion in Baldur's Gate 3 has been carefully crafted to give them their own unique look and personality. These were refined over the lengthy beta period that the Larian hosted, eventually giving us the party members that we know and love today. They're perfect in every way – except when it comes to their D&D miniatures.

If you're thinking about going back to Baldur's Gate 3, the final patch is a perfect excuse.

Our heroes have received official Dungeons & Dragons Icons of the Realms miniatures. $50 for the six origin characters and Withers doesn't sound too bad, as far as D&D minis go. But, you might start to question that cost when you see how they look. Without exaggerating, they look like they were chewed up and spat out by Tara.

There's not really much else to say than these miniatures look absolutely terrible. You'd think Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast would be protective of what's undeniably their best video game IP, but these miniatures look like some bizzaro-world versions of the beloved characters (thanks GamesRadar).
