Infinity Nikki has finally responded to fan feedback over the controversy of Version 1.5, offering clarification and compensation for its numerous gameplay issues. December 2024 saw the meteoric rise of Infinity Nikki, as the game resonated with players across the globe to become the sixth most profitable gacha on mobile devices. Given that the main platform for Infinity Nikki is the PC, it's fair to say that Infold made immense revenue from excited fans and eager newcomers.
However, March and April 2025 were considered a bit of a lull for the game, as the developers worked hard on Version 1.5, widely seen as the most ambitious update of Infinity Nikki. Unfortunately, Version 1.5 was released to heavy backlash from the Infinity Nikki community. Among the chief complaints, players cited an unfinished zone, a deceitful dye system, game-breaking bugs, disappearing currency, and the complete removal of Infinity Nikki's beloved intro.
