The next Dragon Ball FighterZ character has been revealed.

It has been revealed that the Master Arts Master and Old Turtle Hermit Master Roshi will be joining the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster soon. A very brief trailer was released to help introduce the character. While the trailer does not show much, it does reveal that Roshi will use the Evil Containment Wave as one of his Super Attacks, and what seems to be his victory outro. Not much else is known about the upcoming character, though it is very likely that more of Roshi will be shown before he released later this year.

Master Roshi will be the third character to release for the game's third Season. He follows Kefla, who released this past February along with Season 3, and Ultra Instinct Goku, who released this past May. Two more characters are coming as a part of Season 3, though they identity of these fighters and when they will be released is currently a mystery.

Dragon Ball FighterZ has been doing very well since its release in 2018. Earlier this year it was revealed that the game had sold over 5 million copies, making FighterZ one of the most successful and popular fighting games on the market. The game's third Season brought with it a number of changes to the title's gameplay. This includes multiple assists for all characters, a new Limit Break mechanic that triggers when a player is down to one fighter, and a change in how Ki is consumed. New modes, were added as well, along with a bit of balancing.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. Master Roshi will be released for FighterZ in September. He can be purchased on his own, or as a part of the Season 3 Pass, which will set gamers back $19.99.
