We now know when Hitman 3 will officially release.

On the Hitman blog, developer IO Interactive has announced that Hitman 3 will release on January 20th, 2021. The developer also introduced the game's two editions: the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition. The Standard Edition just comes with the game, while the Deluxe Edition will come with the Deluxe Pack. The Deluxe Pack includes a digital soundtrack, digital artbook, Deluxe suits and items, director commentary, and Deluxe Escalations. It was also revealed that those who pre-order the game will get the Trinity Pack, which comes with three sets of outfits. The outfits include a suit, briefcase, and gun. The outfits will come in white, red, and black.

IO Interactive also revealed that Hitman 3 will feature a next-gen update, and that it will be free. Those who buy the game on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One can receive an upgrade to their respective next-gen console. However, the next-gen upgrade will only be available to those who purchase the digital version of Hitman 3

Last week it was announced that the PC version of Hitman 3 will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store. The game will be exclusive to the store front for twelve months. According to IO Interactive, Epic gave the team the ability to create the game how they wanted, and self-publish the game themselves. It was also revealed that those who own Hitman 2 on Steam will be able to carry their progress over to Hitman 3 on the Epic Games Store. It will also be possible for those who own the first two Hitman games on PC to import locations from those games into Hitman 3

Hitman 3 will be available for PC (via the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia.
