Players Are Already Breaking Elden Ring Nightreign

Elden Ring Nightreign is hard, and that's kind of the point of it. It's a roguelike, which can notoriously be difficult, combined with a FromSoftware Soulslike— challenge was all but guaranteed. There are some valid complaints that the game may be a little too hard, especially when playing solo, but with practice and perseverance, even newcomers to the genre should get to grips with things.

There have been a lot of theories about The Nameless King's name, from Gwynsen to Faraam, but we have another contender thanks to Nightreign.

It seems, though, that many players don't have the patience for that. Since its release last week, the fledgling Nightreign community has been frantically modding the game to do away with some of its trickier elements.

Over the last week, Elden Ring Nightreign has received 63 mods on Nexus Mods. While many of them are cosmetic or designed to help run the game smoother, a handful have set out to simply break the game, making it completely different from what FromSoftware intended.
