In The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, there are multiple companions. You can have Mage Apprentices follow you around, the Golden Saint and Dark Seducer can join the fray in the Shivering Isles, and, of course, there's the Adoring Fan, who just wants to let you know what a good job you're doing.

Babe, wake up. The latest Skyrim vs Oblivion debate has just dropped.

While some companions are mandated by the game, others are chosen by the players, like the horse they ride or the mysterious unicorn that is lurking in Cyrodiil. Unfortunately, while a horse (or unicorn) can be great for getting around Oblivion's world, players are finding out that they're not particularly hardy, and it's proving quite the frustration.

Over the past few hours, a pair of discussions have been started on the Oblivion Remaster subreddit, with players sharing their disappointment at just how feeble the game's horses are. This is, of course, not helped by the fact that they draw aggro from many of Cyrodiil's resident baddies.
