Nintendo Switch 2 is finally here, bringing with it a cool new game in Mario Kart World, as well as improvements to all of our existing titles. Ever since the console dropped into our hands, fans have been amazed at just how well certain games run, even those that don't have official upgrades, like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
One of the games that has benefited most from the improved horsepower is Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, which was lambasted back when it first launched for its shoddy performance. While the graphics still aren't great, most people who have booted up Pokemon Scarlet & Violet on their Nintendo Switch 2 have noticed remarkable improvements over the original.
It actually runs at a stable frame rate now, has massively increased loading times, and there are more Pokemon roaming the open world than ever before. In fact, that last improvement is turning about to be an incredible boon for shiny hunters, who are now able to run into giant swarms of Pokemon and make their jobs a lot easier.
Now that Pokemon Scarlet & Violet run well on Nintendo Switch 2, it's eyeing up a redemption arc.
