What happens when you give a team of tacticool gun nerds an AAA budget and full creative freedom? Well, we're about to find out sometime in 2026. South Korean studio EVR Studio has finally announced the official title for its upcoming project—MUDANG: Two Hearts.

The upcoming game tells the story of a North Korean special forces operative caught in a near-future political crisis that has swept through the Korean peninsula as the peninsula's reunification falls apart after a terrorist attack.

MUDANG: Two Hearts mixes that tactical espionage action with K-Pop, using this unusual combination as the basis for commentary on the Korean political and military scene.

MUDANG: Two Hearts draws heavy inspiration from other tactical heavy-hitters like the stealth from the Metal Gear Solid series, and the action sequences from Yager Developments' Spec Ops: The Line.
