Oblivion Remastered Discovers Hidden Daedric Message In Random Oblivion Plane

Oblivion Remastered has brought a new generation of players to The Elder Scrolls 4, and through their diligence, we're learning more about some of Oblivion's least-explored areas, such as the Random Oblivion Worlds that connect to the various gates around Cyrodiil.

One user discovered a door to a non-existent location labelled "The Lost Citadel", and now, a user named Xbuttongamer has discovered a message in daedric script in another plane of Oblivion.

The message appears at the base of a dome at the centre of a bridge in Random Oblivion World 1, the plane of Oblivion that connects to the gate that appears outside the town of Bravil.

This message was present in the original Oblivion, but the original's lower-quality textures may have made players simply overlook the message, as there's no mention of it on the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages, the best resource for information about Oblivion.

The up-scaling used by Virtuos appears to have distorted the alphabet somewhat, but commenter IAmAGodHowCanYouKillA translates the message as "Mehrunes Dagon Beckons."
