DOOM Eternal will soon be joining Xbox Game Pass.
It has been announced that DOOM Eternal will be a part of Xbox Game Pass next month. On the Xbox Wire, Microsoft stated that the game will join the service for console on October 1st, and will come to Game Pass for PC at a later date. It was also announced that the game's first DLC expansion, The Ancient Gods, Part One, will come to Game Pass on October 20th.
DOOM Eternal puts players into the armor of the Slayer, a one-man army looking to raze Hell and save humanity. As the Slayer, players battle demons in an epic campaign that takes gamers through Earth, Mars, and Hell. Players have an arsenal of powerful guns, grenades, and abilities that make them a force to be reckoned with.
DOOM Eternal's first bit of DLC, The Ancient Gods, Part One, will release on October 20th, and will pick up where the original campaign left off. By bringing down the Khan Maykr, the Slayer left an imbalance of power that threatens all of creation. With the aid of an old ally, players will battle their way back to Urdak and decide the fate of the cosmos once more. The Ancient Gods, Part One will be a part of DOOM Eternal's Season Pass, or can be purchased on its own. The season pass runs for $29.99, while the expansion on its own will cost $19.99. The Ancient Gods, Part One will include new features, such as riding a submarine, new enemies and new vicious ways to dispatch of them, and more.
DOOM Eternal is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. DOOM Eternal will be making its way over to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, and will offer free next-gen upgrades for those who own the game on current consoles.
